Gathering In The Dark

The long awaited gathering with Teacher Tham has finally succeeded after all these years. It's such a rejoice that the plan didn't end up going down the toilet because the number of confirmed attendant was just so sad. We thought it would be just the usual attendants but a lot of our classmates showed up unexpectedly.

Great minds think alike, my sister was going to Mid Valley on the same day too so I got to hitch a ride. Teehee. I was fully prepared by 1 in the afternoon and I grabbed a salmon fish for lunch while waiting for both my mum and sister to get ready. My sister were so slow and I'm going to be late in 15 minutes so I was praying for all the green lights. All the way, I was anxiously sending SMS with Audrey worrying that I might be very late.

Arrived at The Gardens Mall when the clock ticked off 2.05 p.m. I was heading to Popular actually but ended up joining Audrey, Desmune, Keng Hao and two of his friends at 老油鬼鬼 as I passed by there. My mother and sister left me to shop by themselves and we just had some small conversation until 2.40 pm where we met up with the rest in front of the bookstore.

Exchanged greetings, chatted for awhile and we starting searching for a restaurant that can fit all of us during that peak hour. There were really a huge crowd and we kept bumping into kids. The scene was funny when Soon Yung voiced out his thought that he was debating whether to cross over the kid who fell onto the floor, and we were just standing in front of them without helping them up. xD After having wandered around, we came back to Nando's where we first started.

After having all of our orders taken, we waited for our meals to be prepared. ( Chou Tong and I had our lunch beforehand, so both of us shared a Chicken Wrap, wasn't really nice though. ) Suddenly, the restaurant turned pitch black. It was weird as only Nando's went blackout, the opposite shops were all bright. Sim asked whether my name is "Hiew Mae", so Poon Thong told him to call me that and I will answer him, and I really turned around to answer him. T^T They were laughing so hard and so was I. We couldn't see Poon Thong's face while talking to him, I stated it out and everyone started laughing. LOL.

We had our lunch until almost 5pm and we started taking group photos for memories, or you can take it as our routine. It was really hectic, and you can see that from our photos. After Teacher Tham went back, we walked around and seated at Starbucks where we continued taking photos. Rain suddenly pour down heavily, so we quickly walked to KTM. In the train, Audrey, Chou Tong and I were standing in between Poon Thong, Keng Hao and the others, they kept talking about us falling over lol. We chatted loudly in the LRT and there was this strange guy kept looking in our direction. Scary.

Reaching Wangsa Maju, we discussed how to go to PV128 and came to a conclusion where the four of us (girls) and Keng Hao followed Poon Thong's car while Ang Che Siah and Che Jia Yong go there by bus. We had our dinner at 不见不散, then started playing "Truth or Dare" but then ended up only "Truth". Lazy to continue the game, we straight away chatted about each of our love lives. xD ( It's still very frustrating to talk to Ang Che Siah, sigh. ) This was definitely an enjoyable gathering.
