A Different Yet Fun Gathering!

Posted by Mae Yeap at Sunday, January 18, 2015
12 hours of gathering, from 11 in the morning until 11 at night. It sounds long, but to us, it wasn't enough at all. 15 hours for some of them, as they gathered 8 in the morning at Jalan Pahang McDonald's with Miss Hee. I couldn't join them for breakfast due to transport problem, because my dad was tired from his gathering on the day before mine.

That day was 17th January, and it was our first gathering in 2015. I woke up 9.30 in the morning and started preparing after my morning coffee. Finishing their breakfast at McDonald's, Miss Hee fetched them to Desmune's house and from there, he fetched them to Gombak LRT station. I met up with them at Wangsa Maju LRT and we went straight to KLCC. On the LRT, Desmune ( actually it was Keng Hao's question ) asked whether they are the first three guys under 20 years old that I had met in 2015 because I was from a girl school lolol. I received my late birthday present from Audrey, a crochet for me to knit and a make up pouch ( not sure why she thought about buying that for me as I don't own any make up kit xD ). Anyway, thanks for the gift~ ^_^

Reaching KLCC, we went straight to the convention centre. There's an Edu Fair organised by the Star, and that's our first stop. It was my first time going to an Edu Fair and I am with my friends! At first, Oscar went to the toilet and he was separated from us. We couldn't find him anywhere and decided to move on. We were such a bad friend. xD Because their morning session ended late, we were late to the talk and couldn't get to hear anything standing on the other side of the divider. Eventually, we gave up and continue searching for colleges. Soon, Oscar found us and we moved together. And during our stay there, Sim Wei Qiong and Wah Jia joined in.

With all the information enquired, it was already 2pm. Decided to have our lunch at the food court but it was damn crowded, so we changed our venue to Avenue K. Had our lunch at Wondermama X while Soon Yung joined up with us after school. We continued to "blow water" until almost 5 in the evening. xD First time listening to the boys' conversation and it was really "walao eh" kind of feel. Some part of it, I felt a lil bit uncomfortable. Their topics were really...how should I say it...变态? >.<

After paying our bill, we went the washroom on the second floor, and I was the last one to enter and come out. They lined up into two lines and were clapping their hands, leaving me in the state of bewilderment. Later, I found out that they were supposed to shake my hands but failed. It started with Oscar shaking Chou Tong's as he did not wash his hand. xD Then Wah Jia and Audrey but they refused to do so and lastly it was my turn. Failed. After walking around aimlessly, we saw Sim off to the LRT. But before that, let's take a wefie! xD

Took a photo of Sim with him acting like a celebrity. xD

We went to Starbucks but it was crowded and the outdoor smells of cigarette. So, we decided to go to the KLCC park. On our way there, each of us got a free ice cream from Mix FM ( watermelon flavoured, maybe mix with orange as it taste a lil sour ), and everyone was gazing at us who were walking in a group with an ice cream in our hands. Funny. Sitting in front of the fountain, we took some wefie while finishing our ice cream. We walked to the playground and both Keng Hao and Oscar sat on the swings, shaking the whole swing as they were too heavy. xD We played "金箍棒" in the middle of the playground but just a few rounds, because they couldn't understand the game well. Then, Oscar wanted to introduce a new game to us, but what's funny is, he just did the hand movements and all of us already knew it was "请你跟我这样做". xD We then changed to "接龙" and while playing, it starts to drizzle but we didn't even care about it.

Soon, rain started pouring down and we stayed under a hut. There, we played a stressful version of "请你跟我这样做" and it was hilarious. We did not use our own names but names from the one sitting on your left or right, then exchanging seats every few rounds, then two from your left or right, three, four and the list goes on. While we were busy playing and getting punishment, two foreigners came by to avoid the heavy rain. One of them named Mohammad, and he joined in our game after Desmune explained it to him. With a few round of English version, Mo's hand was already full of drawings. XD The rain wouldn't stop, so we decided to go back into the mall. The boys ran back, and the girls walked slowly sharing two umbrellas. My whole leg were wet and my shoes were soaked.

Spot the guy who photobombed. xD

Looked exactly like this while memorizing "our names". xD

While the boys purchase their LRT token, we compared our arms with sketches and took photos of them. Chou Tong said her hand was still clean so, naughtily, we suggested everyone to draw on her arm to fill it up. xD Then, Soon Yung suggested to take photos of fingers and shoes that people seldom do it nowadays. On the LRT, we stood at the "joint" of the coach and continued to chat. We were being quite loud and Chou Tong were laughing non-stop at Desmune's soft voice ( due to lack to water ). When his voice suddenly turned back, everyone laughed at him.

The punishment that each of us received.
Mine looks like tattoo, the one with only a "Lim".

We went to Desa Setapak for dinner, aka second round. Chou Tong went back, Audrey, Wah Jia, Soon Yung and I went to Desa Setapak's corner dessert shop, while the rest went to Gombak to get Desmune's car. They called us telling that their car tyre pancit and we were quite concerned listening to that. We called back after awhile and they said Desmune's mom came to fix it ( they were speaking so blurry so we couldn't really hear what they were talking about ). And by the time they reached only that we found out it was their childish prank. -_-

Dinner finished, Wah Jia went back, and we continued our third round at Jumbo ( not sure if it's correct ), a Thai shop located right in front of Desmune's house. They were "blowing water" about basketball so Audrey and I kept quiet throughout the conversation. Keng Hao asked if we were having our period, lol. Because Audrey couldn't hear properly, I didn't reply his question but told her again and she replied no straight away. Haha. They didn't expect her to be so "open" then after that our topics were about period and PMS ( lol ). We talked about school life during elementary and high school, novels, all sort of careers until 10.40 at night and finally ended our gathering. Desmune fetched everyone back while I followed Audrey back to her house before going back.
