Answers

There is no right answer in life. No one knows whether they will be happy with their decision. Don't look for answers. Right and wrong answers co-exist in every decision. Wise people make a choice and make it the right answer while foolish people regret the decision and make it the wrong answer. There is no right answer in life, but only the process to make it the right answer.

I've finally made my decision in my tertiary education which I do not know whether it's suited for me or not. Not knowing what kind of challenges that I'm about to face, I've decided not to worry so much and just go for it. I wish to be a wise person, to turn this decision into a right answer.

Diploma in Science ( Computer Science and Management Mathematics ), sounds hard. But I've came all the way to this choice after much thinking. Father wants something that the market accepts, which I would be having a lot of job opportunities after graduation. But Business Economics is just not my thing. Mother wants something related to computer, she said she saw my abilities there but I don't know how. Because of a word in the past, I developed a barrier against Programming. But I think that barrier is starting to crack open after much explanation from Ms Tan Li Peng, a lecturer in TarUC. I do not know why, but I have a feeling that I'll like to do programming later on.

The reason why I chose this programme is because of their Bachelor of Science in Management Mathematics with Computing. Major in Management Maths, Minor in Computing, Business Management as associated studies are what the degree offers and attracted me. But now I'm not sure anymore, whether I will go to the Maths path or the Computing path which I'll be studying Bachelor of Information Technology in Software System Development for which I'll be working as a hardcore programmer in the future. If I chose Mathematics, it widens my career prospect, I can either work in Business field or IT field, that's what I've thought about. Another reason is, the lecturer assured me that I'll be able to handle it looking at my personality and all, and she said that it'll be better if I choose this over Diploma in Science ( Internet Technology ) as students studying that course are usually low achiever.

Anyway, it's still advantageous to take this course. The diploma offers 50 percents of Computer Science and 50 percents of Management Mathematics. So even if I'll have to choose one from these two, I gained another new knowledge, isn't it? So I will just look at it positively. =) Even if it's hard, I will just suffer for four years. ( Yeah right, easier said than done. T^T ) But still, I believe in the power of faith! X)
