BM Seminar

Encik Zafni, our BM teacher, sent the seven of us ( Wei Ling, Chou Tong, Me, Balqis, Maryam, Shahirah, Anusha ) to a seminar one week before SPM, hoping that we can gain some technique, improves our writing skill and will be able to do well in our exam. It's a seminar for excellent students who got an A for BM in their trials, that's what Encik Zafni said. At first, he told us that the venue is at SMK Puteri Ampang, but that morning only we found out it's SMK Seri Ampang, an all-boys school opposite the girl school, just like ours. 

That morning, my father fetched me there and I reached there by 7. I was really early and I saw Kak Long standing in front of Seri Ampang. I was curious why she stood at the entrance of Seri Ampang. Puteri Ampang already started their assembly and I wonder why Chou Tong they all who followed Encik Zafni's car still haven't reach yet. I called them but no one answered. After that only I found out the correct place and went into the school. They reached late because they need to wait for Encik Zafni and couldn't answer their phone because they were at the assembly hall ( almost got caught cuz Chou Tong never silent her ringing tone =O ). 

We waited until 8 something and finally the seminar started. The teacher who gave talk was from CBN and the morning session was for paper 1 essay. She taught us how to write a good essay for Paper 1 Section A, but I couldn't really catch up. That day I was quite out of situation. I asked the teacher what's her method again and she started explaining, after that she just keep asking me whether I understand or not and Wei Ling said the teacher liked me because I asked her a question lol. 

Then it's time for breakfast. We took our Roti Canai and a cup of tea each and went to the canteen for breakfast. It's also their recess so all the tables were occupied. All of us sat really closely at the first table near the entrance. xD Couldn't find any fork and spoon, so we used our hand instead. After breakfast, we were searching for the sink when a group of guys called Wei Ling "amoi". We turned around and walked to opposite direction and Wei Ling said while facing us, "Amoi!? I am older than you guys okay." xD

After breakfast, we continued our morning session on Paper 1 Section B, Continuous Writing. Using the same method as Section A but longer. After teaching us and calling the students, basically hers and some from other schools, to present how they wrote their paragraphs. After awhile, she wanted us to start writing for an essay title and she will call some of us to present again, but this time without any tips. You know how my mind goes blank when you suddenly asked me to write an essay. I was thinking and writing, erasing and writing again, then I started to feel unwell. Maybe I was too panic or maybe the Roti Canai I had wasn't clean, I felt like vomiting. I asked for medicine from Wei Ling and Chou Tong but they didn't have, so Wei Ling helped me to tell the teacher. It was embarrassing when the teacher asked me about my condition because everyone in the hall was looking at me. TT Another teacher came by and offered me medicated oil, but I don't feel like applying. I asked for Panadol, she said she have it but she cannot give it to me.

Then the morning session ended. We queued up once again for our lunch which was Nasi Minyak. I only took a little bit of the rice and half cup of Teh O ( don't drink milk if you're ill ). Managed to finish the rice after eating for a long time. Then I decided to skip the afternoon session and called my dad to fetch me back.  Then we had a small session of quizzes on history at the canteen, it was actually quite fun lol. Felt a little bit better that time, maybe the quiz distracted me from my nausea. After the quiz, I sat at the canteen with Wei Ling and Chou Tong helping me to take my belongings from the hall. 

My dad came to pick me up and they went in to the hall after saying goodbye. I slept in the car and when I reached home, I straight away vomited. Drank some hot water and went for a short nap. Dad told me not to eat medicine, luckily the teacher didn't give me the Panadol. After that, dad went out to fetch my mum, I felt so hungry and decided to cook some porridge. I had a really large plate for dinner. xD I was feeling ill the whole night, so I couldn't study. Wasted a night. =(
