Majlis Mohon Restu

Another 4 days and there starts our nightmare. =O It feels unreal and yet I am so scared of it. Why? Because it's the most important examination in our school life. And basically, it determines our future. Everyone's goal is to pass this national examination with flying colours, then register into a good college with the result they obtained, and of course, to make their parents and family members proud of themselves.

Every year, our school will surely hold an event to wish their students luck, for the teachers to give their kind words and blessings, hoping that the candidates would do well in their examination. This year, the event was held at the Dewan Penataran Ilmu, and it's for the 97's in SPM and the 95's in STPM. It was held on this day because we were given a 'study leave' by the school on 31st of October. Around 1 o'clock, Puan Jerina Bibi as the emcee did the opening talk and then invited our headmistress, Puan Lailane, Puan Suzie ( who is going to be transferred to CBN soon ) and some of our teachers to give us some words of encouragement. In a sudden, I felt so nervous, stressful and scared to face the upcoming examination while listening to the teachers. I really hope that I could remember everything that I've learnt and revised, and will be able to answer the questions correctly.

While Puan Jerina was preparing for the event, she actually called us 'sampah' just because our lines were messy. What!? How can a teacher scold her students 'sampah'!? Is she really a teacher!? And from what I saw, our lines were just a little bit messy at the back, that's all. Then during Puan Lailane's speech, Hooi Yee and Audrey they all were talking and playing behind us, so they were scolded by her.

So after the speeches, we lined up to get a see-through pencil case sponsored by Infrastructure University and a pad each for the females. While getting those items, I hugged every teacher who was standing there. From Puan Adelina, my Form 5 English teacher, then Miss Wong, my Form 4 and 5 Add Maths teacher and Form 5 homeroom teacher, Puan Teoh, my Form 1 BM teacher, Puan Maimum, my Form 5 History teacher and lastly Puan Norhayati, my Moral teacher from Form 1 until Form 5. I got misty-eyed when they hugged and wished me, but I did not cry cuz I saw my friends standing there waiting. The main reason was because they made a joke, asking whether I wanted to cry or not, they can use the pad to wipe my tears, and that made me laugh. XD

Back into the hall, everyone went back home while we were still there hugging and wishing each other. It was my first time hugging them except for some which I am really close to. It's a really warm scene between friends. And then I saw the Form 6's were playfully copying us.... =.= After that, we left the hall and went to the staff room where the rest of our teachers were there. It was really crowded with the SPM candidates. We went to hug and get blessings from Puan Salma, Puan Norliana, Cik Yap and Puan Rosam. Then we bid farewell and went back home, preparing ourselves for the nightmare. It was raining heavily at that time, just like our feelings -- thunderstorm. T^T
